Mr. Shechtman manages the firm's Massachusetts real estate and conveyancing practices. With over three decades of experience, Mr. Shechtman focuses his practice in such areas as business planning and structure, contracts, commercial leasing, from the perspectives of both landlord and tenant, residential and commercial real estate transactions and development, including IRS Section 1031 like-kind exchanges, condominium law and creation, and general corporate matters. Mr. Shechtman is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Massachusetts, as well as the First Circuit Court of Appeals. He received his J.D., cum laude, in 1976 from Suffolk University Law School, where he was a published member of the Suffolk University Law Review. Mr. Shechtman received his B.A. from Boston University, cum laude, in 1973, is a member of the Massachusetts Real Estate Bar Association and a licensed title insurance agent.
