Over the past two decades, Mr. Halperin has practiced in a wide range of areas, with an emphasis on commercial and real estate litigation, cooperative and condominium law, both as litigation and general counsel for cooperative corporations and sponsors, partnership disputes, matrimonial disputes, and the purchase, sale and leasing of various types of real property. A number of his successful cases have appeared on the front page of the New York Law Journal dealing with issues ranging from fraud and self-dealing, rescission, the attorney-client relationship, and arbitration law. Mr. Halperin is admitted to practice law in the state of New York and in the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. He received his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School in 1984, and his B.A. from the University of Rochester in 1980. Mr. Halperin has been a long standing member of the New York City Bar Association.
